Employment rights legal update – Indisputable evidence that Employment Tribunal Fees bar access to justice

In July 2013 the government implemented new rules which meant that individual Claimants had to pay an issue fee (in most cases of £250) to lodge a claim in the Employment Tribunal (“ET”), and a further hearing fee (in most cases of £950) in order for the ET to conduct a hearing in relation to the claim.
