Redundancies at Addspace Furniture Ltd

Up to 60 staff have lost their jobs at Rotherham-based Addspace Furniture Ltd after the manufacturer went into administration. It is understood that the company failed to consult with them before making redundancies.

Making redundancies without consultation could give rise to claims for up to 90 days’ pay by way of a protective award.

When making more than 20 redundancies at one workplace, employers are under a duty to inform and consult with employee representatives. If they fail to do this, claims can be made for compensation. Our employment solicitors are experts in protective award claims and can assist on a no win no fee basis. This means legal fees aren’t payable unless a claim is successful.

Morrish Solicitors are national specialists in Protective Award claims. Our employment team have pursued a number of successful claims including Thomas CookBardsley Construction, Styles and WoodCity Link and Phones4u etc.

Contact our employment team on 033 3344 9603 or email [email protected] to discuss a potential claim.

Please note, there is no minimum length of service required to make a protective award claim.
