Career

I studied the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the College of Law in York. Whilst studying I worked on a part time basis as a paralegal dealing with personal injury claims for victims of road traffic accidents.

After qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2016, I initially specialised in work-related stress claims. Since December 2017, I have specialised exclusively in medical negligence.

I joined Morrish Solicitors in October 2021 as a Medical Negligence Solicitor.

My role involves recovering compensation for victims. I deal with a wide range of claims including GP negligence, delay in diagnosis of cancer, orthopaedic injuries, gynaecology and obstetrics issues and pressure sores.

Greatest Professional Achievement

Assisting with a £1.1 million settlement for a serious brain injury claim with a periodical payment order which was utilised to put in place a much-needed care package.

Interests

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, socialising with friends and walking my overly excitable black labrador.
