Please support our Fire Walk team

fire-walk-2
Four Morrish members of staff – Emily Meredith, Carrie King, Rizz Bashir and Tony Rippon will be taking part in a Firewalk to raise money for our Charity of the Year, Children’s Heart Surgery Fund!! It will take place at Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds on 24 November 2016.
Walking over fire is without doubt one of the most thrilling extreme events that a person could take part in. Call it a right-of-passage, a test of faith or bravery, or a great excuse to try something new!
Emily, Carrie, Rizz and Tony will undergo motivational training by experts and then walk over hot burning embers.
Children’s Heart Surgery Fund couldn’t be more local to us…they are literally steps around the corner from our office, based at the Leeds General Infirmary.
They provide support for children and adults born with Congenital Heart Defects. CHSF provides valuable equipment, resources and research, as well as providing a support service for both the children and their families along the way.
They cover the regions of Yorkshire, Humberside and North Lincolnshire. Around 400 children from these regions need open heart surgery every year. They aim to ensure these children have the best possible chance of survival and to help their families in whatever way needed during their stay in hospital.
This skydive, is one of many fundraising activities that we will be taking part in over the next year.
If you would like to support our team and the charity, please visit our Just Giving page and place your donation. No matter how large or small, each and every donation helps to support children and their families affected by congenital heart disease.
Thank you so much for your support.
