I completed the LLB Hons Law at the University of Bradford (2:1) and the LPC at the BPP Law School in Leeds (Commendation). I joined Morrish Solicitors in August 2014 as a Paralegal in the Personal Injury Department and later commenced my training contract in September 2017. I specialised in claims with regards to Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accidents. I also specialised in Care Home Claims which involves assisting people in the recovery of wrongly paid Nursing or Care Home fees that should have been funded by the NHS.
In September 2018 I moved to the employment department to continue my training contract.
- Chairman of the Grosvenor Ground Group (Youth Group) in Bradford. This role involves tackling the issue of childhood obesity through healthy living events and ‘Be Healthy’ initiatives. It also involves organising anti-bullying campaigns. The Youth Group was successful in winning the Bradford Young Citizen Award in 2011 for the category of ‘Be Healthy’ at St Georges Hall.
- Football – Represented Bradford Boys Football Schools from ages 14-16 and selected as one of the best 11 young footballers across Yorkshire. Played Semi-Professional/Amateur football since the age of 16 – present.
- Volunteer for Islamic Relief and Mind Group and Mentoring/tutoring young people in the community with regards to education.
