Career

From leaving school I worked as a Legal Secretary for a Senior Partner who specialised in residential conveyancing. Having gained experience, I was promoted to a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner.

I joined Morrish Solicitors in 2013 as a Conveyancer offering bespoke services to our residential property clients.

My role involves endeavouring to make what can be a stressful process run smoothly and as trouble free as possible for my clients. I strive to exceed Clients’ expectations and provide a bespoke personal service.

With over 30 years’ experience in residential property and conveyancing, I specialise in residential freehold and leasehold transactions; including new build and shared ownership transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity as well as acting for high street lenders exercising their power of sale.

Greatest Professional Achievement

I mentored one of the firm’s Trainee Solicitors whilst she did her seat in the Conveyancing department. After qualifying she became a Residential Solicitor and worked alongside me for a further 2 years in which time I supervised and checked all her work. After this time she became a fully fledge fee earner who could work off her own back. She then left and moved to a different firm (only because it was closer to where she lived) and she is now an Associate Solicitor. I feel proud of what I taught her during her time at Morrish Solicitors and she has gone on from strength to strength.
