Legal Services for NAEO Members

Employment Rights

Our Employment Rights team has a formidable reputation when it comes to helping associations and their members navigate the complexities of employment law and enforce their legal rights. Our team has worked with clients in the education sector for many years.

We offer advice and representation for a range of employment law matters, including settlement agreements, redundancy, discrimination and unfair dismissal.

If you have an employment issue, you should seek advice directly from NAEO, as we cannot assist without its authorisation. Subject to NAEO’s terms, you may be entitled to free legal advice and representation.

However, if you need assistance with a settlement agreement, you can contact us directly at 033 3344 9603. As a member of NAEO, provided your employer has agreed to make a contribution to your costs, there will be no cost to you.

Personal Injury

As a NAEO member, you can access our personal injury service on a "No Win, No Fee" basis on preferential terms.

Our areas of expertise include claims for catastrophic injury, spinal injuries, workplace accidents, slips and trips occurring outside the workplace and road traffic accidents.

Our solicitors have many years' experience dealing with a wide range of claims, many of which are specific to those working for schools, colleges and other educational settings.

Our expertise also extends to non-workplace injury claims, so if you or a member of your family has suffered an injury due to any type of accident that wasn’t your fault, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Client Feedback

“Morrish Solicitors have been providing our union expert legal advice since 2004. We really value their expertise and the wonderful job they have done - and continue to do - in representing our members from Employment Tribunals to industrial injuries. Most recently, we have deepened our long-standing partnership as they now also provide the Helpdesk service for our members. This has proved an overwhelming success and is now the popular first port of call for our members and our reps”. - Manuel Cortes, General Secretary, TSSA, April 2021.

“I have always found advice and guidance from Morrish Solicitors invaluable. They are a friendly and well informed team who offer Union Officers and members alike an unbiased and clear view of matters legal. They are available to talk to you and oddly, in these days, you can actually talk to a person with knowledge and not just a clearing agent. I would always recommend that if as a member or a Branch Official you do not have the answer then call Morrish, they have someone who will give you unbiased clear and unambiguous advice.” - Trevor Cope, former Branch Secretary of ATL

“Your service is the tops anyway. Second to none. As to improve it I just don’t think that is possible. Morrish is the tops’.” – Personal Injury Client, September 2019.

“Daniel who dealt with us was professional understanding and patient, he kept us up to date with progress of our settlement.” Employee Client, September 2019.

“You don’t need to improve anything. You are amazing and prompt. You don’t give up and keep fighting for the client.”Medical Negligence Client, July 2019.

“Recently had occasion to use their service with a company that went into administration. Their professionalism from beginning to end was second to none. Communication was excellent. Would recommend for any type of claim you may have on a no win no fee basis. 5*****.” - Susan Wilby, August 2019.

“Positive, professional and efficient. Kiran Chana has been fantastic both the times we have used your services for buying our house and our wills. Thank you.” Private Client, May 2019.
