HeartUnions Week 8th – 14th February 2021

Morrish Solicitors are proud to be supporting the HeartUnions campaign organised by the Trades Union CongressWe have decades of history providing legal services for Unions and their members so we recognise the fantastic work they do, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

During this week Trade Unions, Associations and their members will be sharing their stories to raise awareness about why Unions are vital for working people and encouraging people not in a Union to join one.

Over the last 150 years, Unions have fought tirelessly and won:

  • Sick Pay
  • The 8-hour Working Day
  • The Two-Day Weekend
  • Paid Holiday and Parental Leave
  • The Minimum Wage
  • Protection from Discrimination
  • Equal Pay
  • Safe Workplaces

It’s a time to celebrate all the wonderful things Trade Unions do, their reps and members who have worked hard during difficult circumstances whether that’s at work, working from home or on the frontline – thank you for your dedication

To get involved with the HeartUnions campaign please use the hashtag #HeartUnions on social media to share your positive stories that will promote and encourage others to join a Union.
