Employment Rights Legal Update February 2013

This month’s employment rights legal update concentrates on two particular decisions of interest to trade unions.  One concerns whether UK Trade Union recognition law complies with Article 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights and the other, whether transferee employers (i.e. those who inherit employees following a transfer of undertakings or service provision change) are bound by collective negotiations taking place with the transferor after the date of transfer.
