Inspiration:
Travel is inspiring, because you can see different cultures where people have so little to live on, but they get by. It really makes you stop and think about making the most of what we’ve got here.
Year of qualification:
2003
Specialises in:
Employment Rights. I have represented a number of Trade Union clients and their members in all areas of Employment Law. I have dealt with a wide variety of employment cases, including unfair dismissal, redundancy, race, sex, disability and age discrimination, TUPE issues and multi handed protective award claims. I also assist with the Practice's IT issues, developing the Case Management system and training staff.
Career with Morrish Solicitors:
I joined the Practice in 2000, started my Training Contract in 2001, and have been here ever since!
Memberships:
Employment Lawyers Association and The Law Society.
Interests:
Outside of work, my main interest is travel (funds permitting!), fell walking, snorkelling and scuba diving. I love going to different places and seeing new cultures, and how people live. I’m always happy where there is good company, good food and good wine on offer.
Heroes:
I’m not the kind of person who feels the need to have heroes or a role model.
