Inspiration:
People around me, picking a particular skill or quality they may have and adapting it to my own situation. I am inspired by people who've had to work hard to get what they want, rather than it coming easily to them. I had a training contract, which was withdrawn in the economic downturn. Obtaining another training contract has inspired me to never give up and always strive to achieve your goals.
Qualified:
I completed my LLB and LPC in 2007 at Northumbria University in Newcastle.
Specialises in:
Clinical Negligence. I work on a broad spectrum of Clinical Negligence cases, both private client and Legal Aid. My interest in Clinical Negligence stems from when I worked as a Case Manager at the Healthcare Commission in Manchester which is now the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman. Outside of Clinical Negligence, I also have an interest in Personal Injury.
Career with Morrish Solicitors:
I joined the firm in 2008 as Legal Assistant working in the private client Personal Injury Department. I am now a Trainee Solicitor and will complete my Training Contract in 2011.
Interests:
Going to the gym and keeping fit. I like a variety of music and enjoy going to concerts and the theatre. And of course, socialising.
Heroes:
I wouldn’t say I’d aspire to be like a particular person, because everyone’s different but I look to those who have achieved something meaningful.
