Another happy client

Stephen

I wanted to update you on the issues with redundancies at XYZ after you were so helpful in speaking with the Reps a few weeks ago.

We have managed to negotiate an agreement that provides some job security and guaranteed above inflation pay rises for the next 2 years.

We have gained members from this and the Reps have gained confidence.

Our members also agreed to cap overtime in order to save jobs - an act of solidarity which I can't quite believe myself and which management were absolutely gobsmacked by.

We won't now be balloting for a strike but many thanks for your input - it made a massive difference to the Reps understanding of the issues we face in taking action. They still talk about how good you were and the mapping data they produced as a result of the meeting was some of the most thorough I have ever seen.

I know we had a very informal meeting but the outcomes were brilliant. I thought it may be useful for other Reps in other companies? I wonder if it might be worth you speaking to our Education Officer about putting together some sort of course around this stuff?

Thanks again
